MOLINARO BACKS FAR-RIGHT EXTREMIST JIM JORDAN FOR SPEAKER

ITHACA, N.Y. — Today, Marc Molinaro voted to elect far-right extremist Jim Jordan Speaker of the House. Josh Riley issued the following statement:

“Jim Jordan wrote a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or the mother’s life, he was one of the ringleaders of the effort to overturn the 2020 election, and he’s hellbent on cutting Medicare and Social Security. That’s who Marc Molinaro is putting in charge of the House. Molinaro isn’t a ‘moderate’ — he’s as extreme as they come.”
