NEW TV AD: RILEY HIGHLIGHTS UPSTATE ROOTS, REFUSAL TO TAKE CORPORATE PAC MONEY

“Promise” is the first TV ad of the cycle in NY-19

ITHACA, N.Y. — Today, Josh Riley released his first television ad of the cycle, “Promise,” highlighting his deep roots in Upstate New York, and his  commitment to ending the era of pay to play politics that sold out communities like the one that raised him. The new ad is part of a six-figure buy across broadcast, cable, OTT and digital – the first from a Democrat in New York for the 2024 general election.

“Congress needs more Upstate New York values and fewer career politicians cashing corporate checks,” said Riley. “I’ll never take a penny of corporate PAC money, and I’ll fight every day for communities like the one that raised me in West Endicott.”

TRANSCRIPT:

Birdsall Street, where I grew up.

Mom was a probation officer. Dad and generations before him worked in the local factories.

They taught me everything.

I’m Josh Riley. Our neighborhoods have been sold out by greedy corporations and corrupt politicians.

So I’m running for Congress with a promise: I’ll never take a dime of corporate PAC money. I support term limits.

And I approve this message because I’ll take Birdsall Street’s values to Congress.
